Local tip
Byzantino serves traditional Cypriot cuisine, using recipes handed down over generations, with seasonal fruit and vegetables direct from the owner’s orchards.

Byzantino restaurant is situated within the beautiful Casale Panayiotis boutique mountain hotel, in the picturesque spa-village of Kalopanayiotis on the northern slopes of the Troodos mountains.

Byzantino serves mouth-watering traditional Cypriot cuisine using recipes handed down over generations with seasonal fruit and vegetables from the owner's orchards just down the valley.

Savour lunch with your family and friends and take an afternoon stroll to experience the tranquility of village life and magnificent views; or enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on the wooden veranda to the sound of the Setrachos stream below, and as no meal is complete without good wine, the restaurant's cellars are well-stocked with the best Cypriot labels.

Byzantino restaurant overlooks the unique Byzantine monastery of Saint John Lampadistis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Casale Panayiotis, with its 28 exquistiely renovated rooms which were all once village homes, is the ideal base to discover the rural charm of mountain village-life in Cyprus.
