Aeyialos

Situated in a beautiful sandy bay in Protaras is Aeyialos Fish Taverna. The azure waters of the Med gently lap the fine white sand and the taverna offers diners magnificent panoramic views over the sea and really great fresh fish caught by local fishermen and simply cooked so that the flavours speak for themselves!

The taverna has been beautifully designed with light wood, white chairs, crisp white tablecloths and rattan roof and lampshades making it light bright and soooo relaxing!

The menu has a great range of tempting fish and seafood dishes including mussels in cream sauce, grilled octopus and delicious Kalamari. All dishes are beautifully presented and need a drizzle of fresh lemon juice to taste perfect!

If you cannot decide which dish to choose, why not sample them all with the Fish Mezé. The Mezé comprises a wide range of plates of different fish for you to enjoy – including the delicious Fish Moussaka which tastes unbelievably good.

The wine list features wines from Cyprus and Greece including such excellent Cypriot wineries as Zambartas, Tsiakkos and Ezoua. 

As well as being the perfect place for a relaxing lunch or dinner, Aeyialos Fish Taverna is a beautiful setting for family celebrations including weddings and Christenings.

Close by is the Aeyialos Beach Bar where you can sit at the bar and enjoy a coffee or
long cold drink or you can stretch out on the sun loungers on the lawn in front of the bar.
As day gives way to evening at about 7:00 pm, the tempo in the bar changes and Kyriakos the bar man starts creating his popular cocktails which include Sea Waves ( pineapple and coconut) and Coco Moco – a delicious mix of rum and passion fruit. It comes as no surprise to anyone that Kyriakos is the Champion Bartender in Cyprus. On Wednesday evenings there is the added bonus of live Greek music which definitely involves lots of impromptu dancing!!

Opening Hours
Aeyialos Fish Taverna is open daily from 11:00 - 22:30 whereas the beach bar is
open from 09:00 until late.
