The new addition to Uptown Square, Chi Lounge opened its doors last August. The idea to create a truly unforgettable oriental experience has been a 2 year process. The result is simply astonishing! Great attention to detail, chic design and construction, exquisite dishes... an unique, new dining experience.
It is a nicely decorated space with elegant furniture, discreet atmospheric lighting and a fish tank giving a sense of relaxation, which definitely got my chi flowing. The restaurant and menu took two years to finalise and head chef Sam Peong, who has worked at Michelin star restaurant Kai in Mayfair, uses only the best ingredients from all around the world.
The rich menu begins with fried or steamed dim sum, and continues with soups, starters, and 'special appetisers' (chef's specials), vegetable dishes, seafood, meat and signature dishes and ends with desserts.
