The Pharos Arts Foundation with the kind support of the Keyboard Charitable Trust, London will welcome the return visit of the sensational young pianist Vitaly Pisarenko, winner of the First Prize in the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition and Third Prize winner at the 2015 Leeds International Piano Competition. His recital, which is organised on Friday 9 June 2017 at The Shoe Factory, Nicosia, as part of the 17th International Pharos Chamber Music Festival, will include works by Schubert, Schumann and Liszt.

In 2008, aged 21 Russian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko, won the First Prize in the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht. Vitaly's packed tour schedule, with world‐wide engagements, commenced straight away the morning after the Finals with an appearance at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Damian Iorio. In 2015, Pisarenko won the Third Prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition. Vitaly Pisarenko gave his first public recital at the age of six. Since winning the Liszt Competition, his career really took off and he has performed in more than twenty-five countries. He has collaborated with such renowned orchestras as the North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Polish National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, the KBS Symphony Orchestra, and he performed in several prestigious festivals including the Beethoven Festival in Warsaw, Vilnius Piano Festival, the International Chopin Piano Festival in Duszniki (Poland), the Euro Music Festival in Halle (Germany), the Grachtenfestival (Amsterdam), the Diaghilev Festival (St. Petersburg), and in venues such as Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, the Musikverein in Vienna, De Singel in Antwerp, Palace of Arts in Budapest, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and the Shanghai Concert Hall, the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, St. John's Smith Square, Royal Albert Hall and the St. James Piccadilly in London. Pisarenko began his studies in Ukraine, and continued at Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and at Oxana Yablonskaya’s Piano Institute in Italy. In 2014, he graduated with a Mastrer’s degree with distinction and in 2015 with Artist Diploma degree from the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied with Dmitri Alexeev.

Το Ίδρυμα Τεχνών Φάρος με την στήριξη του Keyboard Charitable Trust Λονδίνου καλωσορίζουν την επιστροφή του συγκλονιστικού νεαρού πιανίστα Vitaly Pisarenko, νικητή του Πρώτου Βραβείου στον 8ο Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου Φρανς Λιστ και του Τρίτου Βραβείου στον Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου του Λιντς, το 2015. Το ρεσιτάλ, το οποίο πραγματοποιείται την Παρασκευή 9 Ιουνίου 2017 στο The Shoe Factory, Λευκωσία, μέσα στο πλαίσιο του 17ου Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Μουσικής Δωματίου Φάρος, θα περιλαμβάνει έργα των Σούμπερτ, Σούμαν και Λιστ.

Το 2008, ο 21χρονος τότε Ρώσος πιανίστας Vitaly Pisarenko κέρδισε το Πρώτο Βραβείο στον 8ο Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου Φρανς Λιστ στην Ουτρέχτη. Από το επόμενο κιόλας πρωί, η καριέρα του απογειώθηκε, αφού έλαβε πρόσκληση να εμφανισθεί στο Concertgebouw του Άμστερνταμ με τη Φιλαρμονική Ορχήστρα Ραδιοφωνίας της Ολλανδίας υπό τη διεύθυνση του Damian Iorio. Ο Vitaly Pisarenko έδωσε την πρώτη του δημόσια συναυλία στην ηλικία των έξι. Με ρεσιτάλ ανά το παγκόσμιο και έχοντας εμφανισθεί ως σολίστ με τις σημαντικότερες ορχήστρες και σύνολα μουσικής σε πάνω από 25 χώρες, ο Pisarenko κέρδισε επιπλέον το Τρίτο Βραβείο στον Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου του Λιντς, το 2015. Έχει συμπράξει με ορχήστρες όπως Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Βορείου Ολλανδίας, Φιλαρμονική της Πολωνίας, Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα της Μόσχας, Φιλαρμονική Ορχήστρα του Μπρνο και Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα KBS. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε αρκετά σημαντικά φεστιβάλ μουσικής, μεταξύ άλλων, Φεστιβάλ Μπετόβεν στη Βαρσοβία, Φεστιβάλ Πιάνου του Βίλνιους, Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Πιάνου Σοπέν στην Πολωνία, Ευρωπαϊκό Μουσικό Φεστιβάλ του Χάλε στη Γερμανία, Grachtenfestival στο Άμστερνταμ, Φεστιβάλ Ντιαγκίλεφ στην Αγία Πετρούπολη, και έχει εμφανισθεί σε αίθουσες όπως Teatro Colon του Μπουένος Άιρες, Musikverein της Βιέννης, De Singel της Αμβέρσας, Παλάτι των Τεχνών της Βουδαπέστης, Κέντρο Τεχνών της Σεούλ, Κέντρο Τεχνών του Πεκίνου και στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής της Σαγκάη, Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, St. John's Smith Square, Royal Albert Hall και St. James Piccadilly Λονδίνου. Ο Pisarenko ξεκίνησε τις μουσικές του σπουδές στην Ουκρανία, και ακολούθως στο Κονσερβατόριο Τσαϊκόφσκι της Μόσχας και στο Ινστιτούτο Πιάνου της Oxana Yablonskaya στην Ιταλία. Το 2014, αποφοίτησε με μεταπτυχιακό (Mastrer’s) και διάκριση από το Βασιλικό Κολέγιο Μουσικής του Λονδίνου, όπου φοίτησε υπό τον Dmitri Alexeev.
