Germasogeia Walks 2016

Germasogeia village walk: Organised on Wednesdays (in English) every other week (October-April) at 10:00 hours. This tour aims to take visitors to the peaceful, picturesque village of Germasogeia 15 minutes away from the beach, to stroll through its narrow streets, see its special architecture, visit its churches, and feel the village life. Water has always been the most important element in the development of Germasogeia. It is bounded by the sea in the south and on its north it has as a physical boundary, the water dam of Germasogeia fed by the river Amathos coming from the mountains of Troodos. The tour also includes a visit to the water dam of Germasogeia. Exact dates for 2016 walk will be announced the soonest possible. Germasogeia Walking Tour (Natural Environment): Discover the Nature Environment of Germasogeia. Organised on Wednesdays (in English) every other week (October-April) at 10:00 hours. This tour aims to discover the nature of Germasogeia. The idea is to walk away from the village to the serene surroundings of the area and enjoy a relaxing stroll wandering in the hills of Germasogeia. The participants of the tour will walk more than 30 minutes along the nature trail of the area of Finikaria and they will enjoy a magnificent view of the water dam and river.The herbs and wild flowers give a variety of colours and scents. Start/End Point for both the above: CTO Information Office, 22 Georgiou A΄, Potamos tis Germasogeias, Eastern Entrance of Dasoudi Beach, Tourist area, Germasogeia, Lemesos Free guiding and participation in both walks.
