11th Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala

The 11th Cyprus-Russia Gala will take place in the Presidential Palace in Cyprus on the 15th October 2017 under the high patronage of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades. Initiated by Ensemble Productions and the Administration of the Cypriot government 11 years ago the Gala has become one of the most significant events in Cyprus and one of the most important events related to Russia outside the country; it brings together cultural, political and business figures from both countries.
As usual, the entire proceeds will be donated to the leading Cypriot charity, Radiomarathon Foundation, which helps children with special needs and their families.
The 2017 Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala will be another significant cultural experience, a unique opportunity to appreciate the spirit of Russia and the hospitality of Cyprus. This memorable event at country’s most prestigious venue – the Presidential Palace – is dedicated to the cultural, political and business relationship between Cyprus and Russia.
The well-established artists from Cyprus, Russia and Greece will unite their voices and talents in a unique performance to contribute to the Cyprus-Russia Gala’s programme 2017.
This year’s artists are:
· Liudmila Konovalova – a Russian prima ballerina at the Vienna State Ballet, world-class distinguished ballet star performing in a Cyprus premier of Theatrum Vitae, a choreography of a Russian choreography Xenia Wiest
· Valeriya – People’s Artist of Russia and one of the most popular Russian singers today
· The Moscow Danilov Monastery Choir – one of the best world-known choirs performing spiritual music in Russia and around the world
· Kostis Maraveyas – an acclaimed Greek singer songwriter
