Hantara Waterfalls
Hantara Waterfalls, a pleasant spot to rest, this small waterfall is located in the village of Phini (Foini) in the Troodos Mountains area.

 

Kalidonia (Caledonian)
Kalidonia (Caledonian) falls is just outside the village of Platres and is one of the most famous attractions in the area.  It can be easily reached by car, or nature lovers can follow the nature trail that begins 350m off the main road from Troodos to Platres, near the presidential summer house.

 

Pilavakion Museum
Pilavakion Museum is located in Phini village and houses traditional objects used in village life including milking utensils and chairs.  Phini village is very famous  ceramics making and the museum houses an extensive  collection ranging from the small clay pot holders to over sized ‘pitharia’ used for storing wine.

Fikardou Rural Museum
Fikardou Rural Museum is located in Fikardou village; around 30 minutes drive from Lefkosia.  The Rural Museum comprises two stone built 16th century houses, the house of Katsiniourou and the House of Achilleas Dimitri and offers an engaging insight into rural life.

Kykkos Museum
Kykkos Museum is located inside the Kykkos Monastery and contains invaluable religious relics that have been collected by the zeal and faithfulness of the monks, objects that have overcome the ravages of time, full of meaning and history.  The museum houses an extensive collection of objects including antiquities of the Copper Age, icons, woodcarvings, post Byzantine ecclesiastical silver vessels, embroidered cloths, old manuscripts and 7th century jewellery.
