Larnaka District Medieval Museumは、フィニコウデス海岸の南端にある要塞の中にあります。1625年に建てられ、英国統治初期には刑務所として使用されました。この要塞には地区メディアヴァル博物館があります。キプロス独立後、要塞自体が博物館に転換されました。要塞の中庭は200人を収容できる野外劇場に転換されました。

夏季にはラルナカ市文化センターとしても使用されます。

この小さな博物館には初期キリスト教、ビザンチン、リュジニャン、オスマン時代の展示物があり、12世紀から18世紀の陶器、歴史的な写真、および15世紀から19世紀の火器、兜、剣のコレクションが展示されています。
