中世博物館は、レメソス市の歴史的中心部に位置する旧港近くにあるレメソスの中世城にあるキプロス博物館の中世コレクションを展示しています。

中世の博物館には、キプロスの歴史的な発展、経済、社会、宗教生活、および島の日常生活の他の側面を反映するオブジェクトが展示されています。 3世紀から18世紀まで。

城は14世紀に建てられ、以前のビザンティン要塞の場所に建てられました。 この城では、伝統によれば、イングランド王リチャード獅子心王が1191年にベレンガリアナバーラの王女と結婚し、イングランドの女王に戴冠しました。

展示品には、武器、鎧、ツール、ビザンチン、中世、イスラムの釉薬陶器やガラス器、ランプ、宝石、硬貨、崇拝のオブジェクト、ビザンチンやゴシック建築からの建築フラグメントなどが含まれています。
