博物館

博物館は、アギオス・ラザロス教会の優れた初期10世紀の石造り教会の隣に位置しており、ラルナカ（ラルナカ）の中心部にあります。実際、博物館は、教会の南にまだ立っているヒュポスタイル廊下のいくつかのセルに収容されています。展示品には、ビザンチン時代の重要な宗教的アイコン、工芸品、遺物が含まれています。

1964年から74年まで、博物館の元のコレクションは、60年代初頭の蜂起に続いてトルコの管理下に入ったラルナカ要塞に移動され、保管されました。1974年に要塞の管理は再びギリシャ人に戻りましたが、貴重な宝物はどうやら失われたようです。

現在のコレクションは、そのかわりに集められ、ビザンチン教会の工芸品、アイコン、教会用具のかなりの展示で、まだかなりの印象的な展示です。多くの展示品はロシアの聖職者から寄贈されています。

 

開館時間: 月曜日～土曜日: 08:30〜12:30、15:00〜17:30

水曜日と土曜日の午後：閉館

営業期間：通年

入場料：€0.85、割引料金あり
