Description
Begin at the EDRO III shipwreck, a cargo vessel stranded since 2011 off the coast near Peyia. The wreck lies against clear waters and sea caves, offering photographic opportunities and insight into Cyprus’ western coastline.
Next, hike approximately 1.5 hours through Avakas Gorge, a limestone canyon with towering rock walls, narrow winding paths, and native flora. The route highlights unique rock formations shaped over thousands of years.
The tour continues into the Akamas Peninsula’s remote areas, providing panoramic coastal views. The final stop is Lara Bay, a protected beach known for its clear waters and conservation of sea turtles. Here, you will have around one hour of free time to swim or relax.
