The Thalassa Spa is a luxury Roman-style health retreat in an airy and tranquil environment, that provides a full variety of well-being options. The Thalassa Spa sky-lit indoor swimming pool is spectacular and the 18 candle-lit treatments rooms offer from massage treatments to a gentle detoxifying or holistic programmes with life-long benefits. Uplifting treatments to pacify your body and soul include body wraps, body scrubs, refloxology, reiki and Thalassa Spa signature group massages.
The philosophy of the spa is to reflect the healing powers of Cyprus, the approach is healing, holistic and true. The spa uses the ILA, Osea and QMS Medicosmetics products. ILA is a British 'Beyond Organic' Luxury Skincare & Spa Brand. Treatments are based on yogic healing and marma therapy. They combine techniques to harness the products' energy as well as that of the therapist and the guest, which results in experiences with a deep healing effect. Ingredients such as rose, orange blossom, olive oil, thyme, honey, rosemary and rose geranium are synergistically combined in treatments and bathing rituals.
Thalassotherapy, from the Greek word 'Thalassa' meaning Sea and therapeía meaning healing, utilises the marine environment; the sea and its products including algae, seaweed and mud, to restore, rejuvenate and heal the body and soul. Thalassotherapy hydro-treatments are the highlight of the spa.
Children who want to experience our special 'Junior Treats' are very welcome to visit Thalassa Spa, however we ask parents to be attentive to their safety as well as their impact on the comfort and relaxation of other guests using the Spa. During the low season and at the Spa manager's discretion, children are permitted at adult supervision to use the Spa's indoor swimming pool until 12 noon.
Children under 16 years old are not permitted in the gymnasium.
