Civil Weddings
Deryneia located on the outskirts of Famagusta in the eastern part of Cyprus, within a breathing distance from the Turkish occupation troops.
Only 5km from the former cosmopolitan city of Evagoras the well known Famagusta and 2km from the beach. The residents od Deryneia managed to survive despite the so many problems they have been facing after the Turkish invasion in 1974. There are several viewpoints, where you can find telescopes and binoculars, allowing you to see next door to the Attila-line the ghost town of Famagusta.
Civil Weddings
The Mayor and the Councilors take part in the wedding receptions thus helping with the creation of a warm and happy atmosphere for the occasion. Sole aim is to service the newly married and their guests on the most important day of their life and to show the Cyprus hospitality.

In case of aliens who are not staying in the Cyprus Republic, Certificates from relevant governmental departments which certify their family state.
In case of Greek-cypriots or aliens who are not staying in Cyprus more than 6 months, the following should be also presented:
Statutory declaration in front of the Registration Clerk of the court.
Marriage permit from the Ministry of Interior (valid for 2 months)
In case of applicants less than 18 years old they must have written parental consent signed by a Notary Public.
Decree Absolute (original) in case of a previous marriage, Death Certificate in the case of Widow / Widower.
Fees
€128,15 in case that the civil marriage is effected in a period more than 15 days, from the day that the applicants sign the necessary documents at the Town Hall.
€281,92 in case that the civil marriage is effected in a period less than 15 days from the day that the applicants sign the necessary documents at the Town Hall.
€13,67 for a true copy of the marriage certificate
Note: The wedding should be effected in a period of three months from the day of submitting the application.
