Municipality of Deryneia
Deryneia located on the outskirts of Famagusta in the eastern part of Cyprus, within a breathing distance from the Turkish occupation troops.
Only 5km from the former cosmopolitan city of Evagoras the well known Famagusta and 2km from the beach. The residents od Deryneia managed to survive despite the so many problems they have been facing after the Turkish invasion in 1974. There are several viewpoints, where you can find telescopes and binoculars, allowing you to see next door to the Attila-line the ghost town of Famagusta.
