ラルナカ（ラルナカ）の中心部に位置し、この博物館ではピエリデス家に属する古代、中世、ビザンティン、現代のオブジェクトのコレクションが展示されています。

この美術館は1815年に建てられたピエリデス家の先祖の家に位置しており、キプロスで最も古い私設美術館の1つです。

さらに、この博物館は、キプロス文明の最も代表的なアイテムのいくつかを含むため、島で最も重要な美術館の1つです。古地図、キプロスと東地中海の地図のコレクションやギリシャとローマのガラス製品の貴重なコレクションなどが展示されています。

中庭には現代のギリシャとキプロスの彫刻のディスプレイケースがあります。

この美術館はアフロディーテ文化ルートとリンクしています。
