Local Picks - Experiences in Cyprus

Every listing here is chosen by people who live in Cyprus, not by a computer or who pays the most. Our Cyprus Local Experts share their personal favorite experiences, places they've actually been to and know well. This means you get recommendations that show the island’s true character, whether it’s a quiet village in the Troodos Mountains or a beachside tavern in Larnaca.

We update these picks regularly to keep them fresh and relevant across seasons. For instance, if you visit in the cooler months, you might want to explore the wine routes around Omodos, while summer calls for a dip at Agia Napa’s less busy coves. Our locals also point out things like the best times to avoid crowds or where to find authentic meze away from tourist traps. It’s all about sharing what we actually enjoy here, so you get a genuine Cyprus experience.
