Description
Travel to western Cyprus to explore its rich historical connection to Greek culture and mythology. The first stop is Ancient Curium, a key archaeological site featuring a Greco-Roman theater and the House of Eustolios with mosaics and bath ruins. The site overlooks Episkopi Bay from a 100-meter hill next to the sea.
Next, visit the town of Paphos where you can optionally tour the House of Dionysus to view ancient mosaics. There is also free time for sightseeing, shopping, and lunch around Paphos Harbour.
On the return journey, stop at Geroskipou village to sample and purchase traditional Cyprus Delights, a local sweet made since 1895.
The final stop is Aphrodite’s Rock, the legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess of love. A short photo break is provided before returning to the east coast.
Note: From April to October, participants may bring swimwear and towels to swim at Aphrodite’s Rock.
