Description
Your day begins with hotel pickup in Paphos, followed by a scenic drive through the countryside. The first stop is Peyia village, known for coastal views and sea caves. There, you will walk through Avakas Gorge, a notable natural feature.
Next, visit the Turtle Museum to learn about local wildlife and conservation efforts. In June and September, turtle hatchlings can be seen at the protected Turtle Beach in Akamas.
The tour continues through the Akamas Peninsula’s varied landscape. Enjoy lunch at a local tavern where traditional dishes and local wine are available (lunch not included). Afterward, visit a local winery for wine tasting. In season (October to December), the tour includes a visit to an olive oil production factory, where you can observe the process and sample olive oil with bread, lemon, oregano, and salt.
On the return trip to Paphos, the tour stops at Arodes and Latchi, two traditional Cypriot villages. The tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
