Description

The tour begins with a scenic drive through the Red Villages before crossing the border into North Cyprus. You will spend about 1.5 hours in the historic Old Town of Famagusta, visiting landmarks such as Othello’s Tower, the Venetian Walls, Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque (formerly St. Nicholas Cathedral), and the Venetian Palace. Walk the stone streets and browse local shops.

Next, visit Varosha, the abandoned resort once popular with wealthy tourists. Photograph deserted hotels and houses while learning about the area’s complex history. Afterwards, choose to explore Varosha further or relax on Famagusta’s golden beach during approximately two hours of free time for swimming, food, and coffee.

The return route follows the buffer zone near the border, offering additional historical context before reaching passport control and concluding the tour.
