Aphrodite II Summer Line Cruises was founded in 1970 as 'Captain Chris Cruises' and it was the first company to offer regular boat trips from the island's premier holiday resort of Famagusta  to a pretty little fishing harbour called Ayia Napa. Well a great deal has happened since those early days and today it is Ayia Napa that is the bustling beach resort, whilst following the 1974 Turkish invasion, Famagusta, to its east,  now stands silently overlooking the sea.

The coastline between the two towns is beautiful with many special features including sea caves and archways carved into the white limestone cliffs and from the comfort of Aphrodite II you can relax onboard and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Your friendly Captain and crew are there to answer your questions as you pass pretty domed chapels and small sandy coves, fishing boats and light houses and when you have reached a particularly beautiful bay with shimmering water, they will be there encouraging you to take the plunge! All this exploring can be hungry work , but you will not be disappointed as there is a delicious buffet of Greek style salad, barbecued meats and local pastries for you to enjoy and Aphrodite II has its own bar too which is open throughout the voyage.

As well as these regular excursions from Ayia Napa eastwards towards Famagusta, Aphrodite II can be booked for special coastal excursions including sunset and moonlight cruises.
