Start with pickup from your accommodation and head off-road into the Akamas region. Visit the sea caves and the Edro III shipwreck, known for unique wind-sculpted rock formations along the coast.
See the Banana Plantation near Akamas, where you’ll learn about Cyprus’s distinctive bananas. Walk through Avakas Gorge, featuring towering 30-metre limestone walls, rich vegetation, and fresh springs.
Stop at Lara Bay, a protected conservation area and one of the main Mediterranean breeding sites for Green Back and Caretta-Caretta turtles. Continue to a viewpoint offering extensive views over the peninsula.
After a lunch break in Latchi, visit the Baths of Aphrodite, a legendary spring said to preserve the goddess’s beauty. Then swim at Aphrodite’s Blue Lagoon Beach (May to October). From November to April, enjoy an optional wine tasting at Sterna Winery in Kathikas village (extra €7).
