Description

The tour takes you through the countryside of Paphos, Nicosia, and Limassol, focusing on extensive time above 1,000 metres surrounded by Cyprus’s peaceful forests. Travel through Troodos foothill villages built from white limestone, stopping at Arminou village for a coffee break.

Explore the tranquil forest area and visit a 500-year-old Venetian bridge. Then, visit the historic Kykkos Monastery, renowned for its rich heritage, and continue to the summit of Kykkos Mountain, called the Throne of the Virgin Mary of the Rain in local folklore.

Journey through high Troodos mountain villages made of dark igneous stone. Pause in Pedoulas village at 1,200 metres to buy a meal or explore the surroundings. Take a scenic walk to Mount Olympus, Cyprus's highest peak, nearly 2,000 metres high, offering expansive views.

Descend to the foothills and stroll through Omodos village’s picturesque alleys. On a viewpoint stop, see Aphrodite’s Rock, the legendary coastal site where the goddess Aphrodite is said to have emerged from the sea.
