Tour Description
Begin with a hotel pickup before heading off-road into the Akamas Peninsula aboard a 4x4 Land Rover. Visit the Blue Lagoon, Turtle Beach, and nearby sea caves. Discover Thalassines Spiles, known for its unique wind-sculpted rock formations, and explore the Banana Plantation to learn about Cyprus’s famous bananas.
Walk through Avagas Gorge, characterized by its towering limestone walls, rich vegetation, and fresh springs. Visit Lara Bay, an important Mediterranean breeding site for Green Back and Caretta-Caretta turtles. Stop at a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the peninsula.
After a lunch break in Latchi, visit the Baths of Aphrodite, a site with mythical significance. Conclude with a swim in the Blue Lagoon's clear waters. In winter, the route includes a visit to a local winery in the Paphos wine region instead of the lagoon swim. Return to accommodation via traditional villages.
