This tour offers a relaxed exploration of Cyprus' iconic landscapes, ancient monuments, and traditional wine culture.
The day begins at Petra tou Romiou, also known as Aphrodite’s Rock, where according to Greek mythology, the goddess of love and beauty emerged from the sea. Visitors can admire the coastline and photograph this legendary site.
Next is Kourion Archaeological Park, an important Greco-Roman city overlooking the Mediterranean. Explore the Roman baths and an amphitheatre still used for concerts due to its exceptional acoustics and scenic surroundings.
The journey continues to the 12th-century Kolossi Castle, a Crusader fortress linked to the production of Commandaria, a historic Cypriot dessert wine favored by Richard the Lionheart.
Inland, visit the wine village of Omodos nestled in the Troodos foothills. A guided walk includes the Timios Stavros Monastery, one of Cyprus’ oldest religious sites. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore the village square, shops, or have lunch at a traditional taverna.
