Akamas Excursion – Wonders of Western Cyprus Discover the enchanting Akamas peninsula, one of Cyprus's most beautiful and unspoiled destinations. The excursion kicks off with a visit to the impressive Sea Caves, naturally formed by the power of the waves. In the same area, you'll also see the impressive shipwreck 'Edro III,' which stands proudly near the coast of Pegeia and is one of the most photographed spots on the island. The route continues through areas with banana plantations, where you'll get to know the special agricultural production of the area. Next, you'll head to the White Stone River, a spot known for its white limestone formations and the natural beauty of the landscape. Next up is a visit to the impressive Avakas Gorge, one of Cyprus' most beautiful natural monuments. You'll stroll among towering cliffs and lush greenery, soaking up the coolness and serenity of nature. The area is home to rare plant and bird species, perfect for photography and relaxation. The excursion continues to the famous turtle beach in Lara, where the sea turtles 'Caretta Caretta' and 'Green Turtle' lay their eggs.
