Explore the crystal clear waters of Agia Napa on our sitontop recreational kayaks on this guided tour. Kayak along the rocky coastline, discover sea caves, see the Lover's Bridge natural arch.

Highlights

  • Kayak with a guide along a rocky coast with crystal clear light blue waters
  • Kayak under picture perfect romantic Lovers' Bridge natural arch
  • Enter on a kayak upto two sea caves, one of which has two entrances

Description

For this trip we only use single recreational sitontop kayaks with a maximum load of 100 kg. In this 4-hour trip the main highlight are the Agia Napa Sea Caves (off limits between November and April). We start at Limnara beach, nearly 3 km east of the Ayia Napa Sea Caves. The route goes west nearly until Glyky Nero beach (and then back to the start). The coastline in the area is rocky, with various formations, interrupted by two natural sandy beaches (which however kayakers are not allowed to enter). The main attraction of the trip is the collection of Sea Caves just east of the beaches of Pantahou and Glyky Nero in Agia Napa. There are more than five sea caves, but most are either very narrow to enter or their height above sea level is limited. Usually we enter two of them. The experience is superb. We enter one of the caves from one entrance and leave from the other. The second cave that we enter has only a single (wider) entrance and the colours there are very beautiful, especially as it has a white sand bottom throughout and light blue water colours. Lovers' Bridge natural rocky arch is another big highlight of the trip. The kayaking trip ends back at the spot where we started. We have a separate 3-hour trip that includes the Cape Greko Sea Caves, and can thus take place throughout the year (as there are no restrictions of entrance in the cove in winter). In case of choppy waters, as an alternative we offer a kayaking trip along the east coast of Cape Greko park. If the travellers do not want that option, or if the sea is choppy also on the east coast we cancel the trip.

Includes

Guide Equipment Possibly a free ride from the guide from Ayia Napa or Protaras, and also from Larnaca, in the longer option (guiding time starts when the guide meets the travelers)

Important Information

  • For this trip we only use single recreational kayaks, and the load on each should we under 100 kg. You will get wet and should not bring along things that may be damaged by salt water. The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each, relatively short and agile. There is some storage place on them. It should be noted that between November and April the Agia Napa sea caves are off limits as to not disturb the breeding seal population (we offer an alternative 3-hour guided kayaking trip to the Cape Greko Sea Caves cove). While the trip doesnot include paid transportation, in many cases we would be able to provide free rides in our company car from Ayia Napa or Protaras (as well as from Larnaca in the longer option).
