The Legend Dave Seaman at Patio Cocktail Bar on Saturday 23 April. Opening set PAT Siaz, DJ Leandro. Seaman’s passion to exhibit boundary-breaking talent is as strong as ever. Via the independent record label Selador Recordings which he co owns with long time friend, Steve Parry, his inspired A&R has helped nurture some of the finest groove-merchants in dance music. The label’s roster speaks for itself, with Cristoph, Nicolas Masseyeff, Kiko, Kevin Over, Dubspeeka, Habischman, D Nox & Beckers, Quivver, Kiki, Gorge and Robert Babicz all contributing tracks and remixes recently. 30 years on from that initial boyhood dream, the places and people may have changed, but Seaman’s passion hasn’t. As busy as ever, he still continues to create. His recent releases on Suara, Noir Muisc, Sudbeat & Hive Audio have seen him enjoy both critical and chart success and with a whole wave of remixes ready for release, you know Seaman’s always on the frontline of electronic house music.
