Cyprus Corporate Foundation Course

Do you have an understanding of UK common law and would like to learn extra knowledge during the summer months in areas within the corporate services sphere, in order to support your professional development and career goals?

Eltoma Training Academy is hosting a series of 1 or 2-day foundation classroom courses and workshops in Cyprus to young professionals who have time off in summer and would like to travel and deepen their understanding on a corporate level.

Day One
Office Finance Centre – Introduction
This section introduces primary areas in the offshore financial services industry, including the types of services provided.

Legal Environment – Office Finance Centre
This section focuses on common law including the difference between common and civil law jurisdictions & contract law.

Offshore Finance Centre – Regulation
This section focuses on regulation, with specific reference to UK and offshore centres.

‼Including the following areas:
• AML legislation.
• Data protection.

Company – a legal entity, Company Director, Company Shareholder & Company Secretary.
This section focuses on common law, including the UK Company Act 2006 and the key roles within a company.

Day Two
Company Incorporation Administration & Liquidation
This section focus on company incorporation, including corporate documentation and key activities

Other Legal Entity Vehicles
This section focuses on introducing other entities vehicles and the role of a trust and corporate services administrator.

Offshore Finance Centre – Banking
This section focuses on banking services provided within offshore centres, incorporating both the benefits and disadvantages of offshore banking.

Offshore Finance Centre – Taxation
This section focuses on main types of taxes relating to entities – companies, trusts, partnerships and foundations.

Cost : €250* per one day training event.
Location: Paphos or Limassol.
Course Language: English.

Course times:
• 10.00am to 13.00pm
• 2.00pm to 4.30pm
