A latin - jazz night with Macumba

Technopolis 20

Wednesday 31 May at 20:30 until 23:00
Cyprus 18 Nikolaou Nikolaidi Avenue Paphos

Technopolis 20 opens its outdoor venue & garden with the latin-jazz band Macumba on Wednesday, 31st of May 2017 at 8:30pm. Enjoy different music approaches to Afro- Cuban & Brazilian Funk rythms, through a modern post-jazz aesthetic.
Macumba quartet is formed soon after the arrival of the Chilean bassist Rodrigo Cáceres at Cyprus. There, he meets Rodos Panagiotou, George Morfitis & Εlias Ioannou, three virtuous musicians, well-known in the latin- jazz Cypriot music scene. Something that really defines this band is its experimental character, constantly seeking for evolution during the creative process of rearranging. The four musicians work together, creating their own eclectic, dynamic & innovative sound.
George Morfitis: keyboard || Εlias Ioannou: trumpet || Rodrigo Cáceres: bass || Rodos Panagiotou: drums
Entrance: €10
Reservations necessary at 70002420.
