8th Charity Vienna Ball

Professional Artistic Dance Company ‘Fly-in-Dance’ with the support of the City of Vienna and the Austrian Embassy in Cyprus would like to invite you to the 8th Charity Vienna Ball “Masquerade”, which will be held on 3 March, 2018 at the Hilton Cyprus Hotel, Nicosia, from 19.00 - 2.00 a.m.
Some people believe that Vienna balls are for the “upper class” members only and a personal invitation is required. Not at all! Vienna balls are very democratic and are open to all, regardless of their social or professional status. All you need is to buy a ticket, observe the dress code and enjoy the ball with its special noble atmosphere!
The Vienna Ball, first held in Nicosia in 2010, is a significant cultural and social event of the international level. For more than 7 years it has been an excellent platform for informal business meetings that often result in new contracts and joint business projects. This is why the Vienna Ball in Cyprus enjoys an active support of both European companies and Middle East business community.
As is the tradition, the Vienna Ball 2018 will offer a great live entertainment.
The International Chamber Orchestra with the Esteemed Conductor Petros Stylianou, Artists of Ballet from Russia Maxim Afanasiev and from Ukraine Ekaterina Alaeva, popular ball dances and master classes from the Artist of Ballet, Choreographer and Director of the Ball Committee in Cyprus, Tatiana Zenevich, the gala dinner by candlelight and gifts from the Mayor of Vienna are some of the highlights of the program.
The Vienna Ball is a real adventure with unexpected encounters, new contacts and incredible discoveries. Last but not least, it's a great idea for a romantic evening with unforgettable experiences.
The Vienna Ball is a beautiful start of the social life for young ladies and gentlemen. There are special three months courses for the debutants to learn and practice ballroom dance etiquette which is taught by the ballet dancer and Director of Cyprus Ball Committee Tatiana Zenevich at the School of Professional Artists 'Fly-in-dance' (Nicosia). Traditionally, it’s the debutants that open the ball with Polonaise dance. Soon the three-quarter rhythm of waltzes is supplemented by contemporary sounds, offering enjoyable dancing for every taste.
More than 400 guests - businessmen from around the world, politicians, diplomats, artists and cultural workers - are expected at the ball.

This year all funds collected will go to Foundation ‘Sunshine of Life’(Ο Σύνδεσμος Στήριξης Παιδιών με Ειδικές Ανάγκες Επαρχίας Λάρνακας “Ηλιαχτίδα Ζωής” Ίδρυμα). as well as to support a young talented artists in Cyprus.
